Afghanistan is the worst place in the world for a child. Naturally children are vulnerable and when they are born in the war zone they become even more vulnerable and deprived. Unfortunately the situation is getting worse day by day. Lack of schooling, food, clean water, housing and a safe environment has turned their world into hell. Through our orphan programme we’re making sure that vulnerable orphans are getting the love and care they need for happy childhoods and brighter futures. There are 2 million orphan children in Afghanistan Many go hungry, living in dangerous conditions with no one to protect them. Without a mother or father to care for them, these children have become susceptible to abuse, neglect and many forms of exploitation. Many orphans are unfortunately exposed to extreme violence, as well as psychological and emotional distress after losing one or both of their parents. Our Orphan Sponsorship Program maintains a carefully developed approach to supporting orphans through every step of their growth and helping them overcome the hardships of their past.
